i. screen-print on recycled clay ceramic
As part of 'from dust and to dust and every space in-between' series.
A technical inquiry work from the first semester of 2021 at Elam; materially/ formally discussing the molecular memorability of clay (explained to me by technician Franca while learning to recycle and wedge clay) and an understanding of image as an imprint of memory/time (contained in a photograph, a moment, a breath) drawn from Douglas Crimp’s 1979 essay ‘Pictures’ recommended by Steve.
Working through the notion of being born from dust and returning to such; an imprint of all the in-between spaces occupied as formed humans in the Garden - body, spirit, and mind as one.
ii. Vessels (1, 2)
