Frances (b. 2000) graduated in 2024 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Te Waka Tūhura, Elam School of Fine Arts, and a Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies from Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland. Her practice and research are concerned with the avenues art offers for reconciling troubling histories and imagining hope-filled futures.
Frances is currently reading for a Master of Studies in History of Art and Visual Culture at the University of Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar.
